Bible Study

Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m., in the Friendship Hall

We are looking at the assigned lectionary texts for the coming Sunday. I will have all the materials we need, and you do not need to bring anything.

If you have not previously been attending Bible study this would be a great time to jump in. I look forward to these get-togethers and look forward to seeing you all there.

Upcoming study….

The Resurrection of the Body

And the Life Everlasting

With these words from the Apostle’s creed, the church confesses with one voice that Christ has won for us eternal life.  We live in the hope that when this life has ended, that God has something else in store for us.  What do the Scriptures really say about what happens after we die?

Join us at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church at 10:00am on Thursday, October 17th, as we delve into the Bible and into the traditional teaching of the Church on this all important subject.

All are welcome and coffee and snacks will be provided.

Crafting Ministry

Card Making and Fiber Arts

2nd Thursday at 10:00am in Friendship Hall

Join us as we gather to make special cards for outreach ministry in the church and community. Special cards are made for birthdays, anniversaries, and many other special holidays. It is a fun project and wonderful ministry these ladies work on each month. We also use these cards as a part of our visitor bags.

We also welcome knitters and quilters to join in this fellowship. This is another great way to get our church name out in the community and as we work  together on projects for our church outreach.
